We are at the season where we tend to think about others that are less frequently on our minds during the rest of the year. At least it seems that way sometimes.
Here is a card with the sentiment, "Thinking of you always makes my day." This fellow seems to be doing just that.
Funny how some things just work out, isn't it? This background was in a pile of possible rejects destined for the dreaded "rotating file". Then I saw this image and the sentiment from klmdigitaldesigns.com and decided there might be a match made in heaven.
The blue frame is a gel press scrap from the pile of hand-dyed papers, as is the grass. The sky background is made using the glue distress technique found on Pinterest. I used Distress Oxide inks for the colors.
The little gnome friend is colored with Copic markers.
I used a Stitched Rectangle die and Grassy Hills die from My Favorite Things.
Copics: E40, 41, 42, 43, 44 (hat, shoes)
YG61, 63, 67, Gelly roll white pen (shirt)
B93, 97, 99 (pants)
YOOO, Y21, E33 (beard)
E000, E01, E11 (skin)
Let someone know you are thinking of them today. Have a great one.
