Mass Production and Experimentation

Welcome back to Creative Juice.

It's been a while! I haven't been absent from the craft room.... much... but things have been very busy! I try to help out with my grandkids and my mom when I can, which requires traveling to opposite ends of the state. Good thing Vermont isn't very big. Fall is generally a very busy time anyway,  so, I will most likely be absent more often than usual as we try to beat the weather to prepare for the snow.

I have been productive, though. I just shipped 265 cards to Cards for Soldiers, 200 Fall cards are ready for delivery to the local nursing homes, another 100 cards and a batch of scarves are headed for Operation Gratitude and this months round of family birthday cards.

Meanwhile, I had to try this napkin technique I've been hearing about. It is interesting, and certainly a quick way to generate some card fronts. I know there are tons of pretty napkins out there but I just pulled a couple from my side board to test the method out.

I used Ranger collage medium to adhere the napkin to a o piece of distressed sheet music. Then, I added a die cut greeting. Done.

The second card I used the same process only I used a dictionary page on which to adhere the leaf printed napkin.
I added a die cut leaf just because I was playing with the new Distress Mica Sprays. Oh, my, what fun these are! Another paper making rabbit hole to jump down.

I only wish the fine shimmer the spray creates would show up in photography. It is magical!

Next week I'll be back with some fun cards from the October release at KLM Digital Designs.

Until I can carve out some more time to post, enjoy the beautiful weather (I hope).

Susan
