Festive Old Friends

Welcome to Creative Juice,  my stress free zone.

I finally broke down and bought the Festive Old Friends from MFT.  They are really easy to color and the sentiments are a hoot! This little lady is just so darned cute I decided to start with her. She is a little small, I found, to carry the Horizontal card front alone so I drew a few candles to help fill that void and move the eye.

The background is from my watercolor / Distress Ink collection. This one used spray stains. It is cut with the Stitched Rectangle STAX  Die-namic die.  The stripe is an old paper pad by Say It With Stamps, Primary.

The bright yellow back is from my scrap pile. I suspect it is SU, judging by the weight. Maybe Daffodil Delight.
