Back to School Leap

    Well, it's that time of year again. Hopefully the kiddos will get a full year of education in without interruption or political agendas. My two youngest granddaughters are young enough where they look forward to going back to school in the fall. After last year I can understand the excitement. My second grader did not have a good virtual experience. It broke my heart, as a second grade teacher for so many years, to see the best school year (IMO) wasted. I pray next year will be better.  We need to get them back to Reading, Writing, Math and Science!

    Okay, I'll get off my teacher soap box..... once a teacher always a teacher, I guess.

    The girls are going back tomorrow, so I made them a couple of interactive (minimally) cards.  There is a simple slider mechanism behind the gnome so he looks like he's jumping.

That's fun!
