Soccer Keeper

School sports in our area have restarted. Thank goodness. I've had my differences with local school sporting organizations in the past, but never once felt they were not necessary for some students. Team sports may not be for everyone but they are an important part of kid's lives. I'm so glad there will be chances for these kids to be with their friends again.

That being sad... Here is a new image from klmdigitaldesigns celebrating soccer players!
I was inspired by artist extraordinaire, Sandy Allnock who makes the most incredible backgrounds for her stamped images. She has a new class on her site now just for this skill. I might have to take that one.

I printed the digital stamp with my Epson printer on Copic friendly card stock and colored him with Copic markers. Then I lightly sketched in the soccer net and colored the background.

The stamped greeting is from MFT stamp set You're Super.

Inside the card I printed one of the sentiments

included with this image. The "keeper" in the sentiment is open so I added a little blue sparkle gel pen to add some interest to the inside.

Copic color mat:
Skin: E000, E11
Beard: E30, 31, 35
Uniform: B21, 24, 26, 28, T2
Background: Assorted greens
Soccer net: regular pencil, T1, white gel pen for the netting
