Spring Weddings

Hello all, I hope everyone is well. We have been busy here with spring yard work and some siding work on the house. It is amazing that we have it done already. It's only mid April. The last two years the spring yard work was done before the time we are normally just beginning. We did actually have a few ice piles on the north side of the house where snow comes off the roof and the sun never hits it. It's all gone now and has been in the high 60's for several days. However.... tomorrow the forecast is for 10" of snow. Such is the weather in Vermont in the spring.

With spring comes the wedding season, usually. We are still not sure what all the regulations will be, but I know some people have their plans in the works. I was thinking of them when I made this little favor. Something a little different. This uses one of those cute little handled boxes you can get in a package at the dollar store. I found a small piece of white and silver patterned paper and cut a cover for the front and back. Then, I colored and fussy cut the bride and groom from klmdigitaldesigns.com and popped them up with a little foam tape. These are available in both digital images and clear stamps. The beauty of the digital image is you can size them according to your project. That is what I did here. I cut a Spellbinder Thank You from silver card stock for the back. A little bit of tule, a few treats and a bow and you have a favor for a wedding shower or the wedding itself.
