I've been retired from teaching going on 4 years. It doesn't seem possible. My most favorite unit to teach was the dinosaur unit. Someone asked me to make a scrapbook page showing how to use a digital image. Goodness knows, I am by no means a scrapbooker. There are several ways to do this but I had already printed a rather large version of this little dinosaur so I decided to use it. The bigger problem became finding a photo of the unit to use with the page! I must have those pictures all on my old iPad and need to get them off (if I still can!).
I happened upon this photo from the very first class that I taught that unit too. We has such a great time! They learned so much. That cute little boy now has a few cute little children of his own! My how time flies.
The 8x8 paper is from a pad of ledgers and maps I've had in my stash for years. The dino is from
klmdigitaldesigns.com. He is colored with Copic markers. The ferns are from Sizzix thinlits Funky Foliage by Tim Holtz.
