Tea for Three

While I was under the influence of Tim Holtz and the hot drink binge during the cold spell, I did a variation of another card I made years ago for a magazine spread. This one is decidedly more vintage in look than the other.

I also used long retired, but still living in my stamp collection stamps.

The first thing was to start with a SU Kraft, top fold card, stamped in SU French Script background stamp and distressed a bit with Distress Ink, Ground Espresso.

The Cups were stamped and die cut from the PTI collection called Tea for Two. Lots of miles on these babies. The light cup in the middle was paper pieced.

I stamped the sentiment from the set on a lightly distressed piece of parchment paper that I wrapped with a teeny piece of tatted lace.

I'm looking forward to having a cup of tea with friends sooner than later!
