Good morning from chilly Vermont....feels like temperature of 27 degrees! The sun is bright and the sky is the most beautiful blue! But, too chilly for yard work. So I'm headed back to the craft room.
Yesterday I tucked my sewing machine out of the way. My hands needed a break from the mask making, so I moved on to make some cards for one of the local nursing homes. I managed to get twenty five of the 100 needed done in one afternoon.
I have been stamping and coloring images so long that I forgot what instant gratification simple stamp and ink can provide.
Not only that, but at this time the stamp name is PERFECT. Stampin'UP set Positive Thoughts just fit the bill perfectly.
On the mass make I used a sentiment from a ms. sparkle & co. (Joann's) set. I added a little sprig of yellow with a very old SU set Watercolor Minis.
The inks were also varied. The flowers were stamped in Brilliance Dew Drops; fern in Pear Pizzazz, SU;
yellow sprigs in Distress Ink, Scattered Straw. I drew the
doodle frame around the edge of the card with Copic multiliner.
This second card is my first attempt with this set, and took all of 5 minutes! I see many more cards with this set in the future. I only wish I had been able to get the dies to go with it. You know the saying about snoozing and losing? Yes? Well, that was me!
Oh well, the stamp is great all by itself! The silver lining is I saved some money. HA!
Have a beautiful day.
Susan

These are beautiful Susan. What did you use to get the stitching on the white mat? Is that an SU die cut? I love them all - so cheerful.
Thank you, Kathy. The majority of the stitches dies I own are from the Die-namics collection purchased through My Favorite Things Stamps.
Hello Kathy. Thanks for your kind words. I use mostly Die-namics stitched dies from My Favorite Things stamps for the layers on my cards.
