Fall Splendor

Foliage is at peak in the valley!! It is SO beautiful this year and the weekend looks good for visitors. The lower mountains are looking bright while the uppers are beginning to fade .... and Killington is making SNOW!!!                             So I decided to do the same.  Despite the beautiful fall colors I went Christmas. I needed to get started anyway, as I have an order for Christmas cards to fill.
I used Canvas workspace on my ScanNCut to create the basic Merry Christmas layer. Then I die cut the piece with MFT Stitched STAX Dienamics. The blue layer is one of my "watercolor day" pieces. I used distress inks on watercolor paper. I gave it a little spritz of something called Glitter Dust. I think it came from Joann's. The snowflakes are from SU Seasonal layers Thinlets, cut from glitter printable paper found at Walmart, of all places!
This is really a white card front. I took the photo at night so the color is off. Guess it's time to get one of those photo boxes.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the colors if you have them, or come visit Vermont!

I know Vermont is beautiful this time of year! My daughter and her family live there for five years and recently moved to Virginia. We will miss going up to see the colors changing. Loving your card holder!
