First step was to create the bubble paper by using distress ink and a watercolor technique. When dry we ran it through the Big Shot and the Cuttlebug bubble embossing folder. I think that folder has since retired but there are many others that will work as well. This paper was cut and layered onto a navy layer.
I was able to use some scraps from a cloud cutting for the water. Waste not...! It was just right.
Those of us who have been around a long time will recognize
the cute jelly fish, dolphin and crab. They are OOOLD stamps from Stampin'UP set Fishy Friends. The rest of the fish and sea plants are My Favorite Things Stamps (MFT) set Gill Friends.

The dolphin and some of the little fish are attached to the water layers using a piece of packaging acetate. Don't throw that stuff in the trash. It works great for anything that you want to appear to float or to support smaller, wiggy items that might not stand upright without some support. (Like the sea plant at the front of the box.
I hope this will inspire some of you to try something new. At my age I need to do it to keep my mind working. But you can do it just for fun 😄.
Enjoy another beautiful creating,
Susan
