Mother's Day Success

Greetings, all.
I know, Mother's Day was 2 weeks ago. This is the first time my mother (88) is not living 5 minutes away. I had a hard time with her move, but it is what she wanted and she is closer to more family where she is. That said, I had a blast making this box card for her for Mother's Day. They are so easy but look so complicated.
She loved the box. Now I need to make another one for my craft room. Sunflowers are so cheerful!
The little stamp set is from Papertreyink. We added some Copic marker to give the stamping a little more depth. I also added extra foliage from Tim Holtz  die. I used a die from Hobby Lobby for the "smile", cutting it 3 times and layering it to give it a little more dimension.

I'm so glad my friend talked me into making some of these boxes. We have made several now. No special reason...just kept making them. They're like Potato Chips! Can't make just one! I'll share more later.
Have a sun filled day .... even if it's raining.

Susan
