The sentimental part of this is the sheet music. I have coveted and protected this piece of paper for the last 4 years. It has moved from place to place several times waiting for just the right occasion to use it.
I found this piece of music, along with several lesson books in my dad's woodworking shop when we cleaned out and sold the family home. Dad was a musician all his life and played bass with the local City Band, (the oldest municipally funded band in the country) until Parkinson's prevented it.
I think this is the perfect time to use it. I know Mom will appreciate it.
