Happy birthday DIL

Hello there, welcome.

    Today's card is for my sweet Daughter-in-law. Once upon a time, she was my second-grade student! Oh, my did I just date myself!! She is choosing to ignore the "four-oh" birthday number. Her hubby beat her by 7 days!

    Anyway, she loves the KLM gnomes,  and I like this one because I can easily use it for anything. The stamp has snowflakes on the hat but with a thin Multiliner I drew petals around the flakes and easily turned them into flowers. I drew a little vine next and with Copics made flowers on the package. 

    The background was made with a gel press, Distress Ink Saltwater Taffy, and the Glory stencil from Lavinia Stamps.
