I have admired the style and cards produced by those at Lavinia Stamps for some time, but have resisted.
I'm a color junkie, a bit of a naturalist, but not so much a fairy person. (Something wrong there, being of Irish heritage. 🤔)
I finally broke down after watching hours of videos and loving the look of their backgrounds. (Another rabbit hole I'm forever running through.) Plus, Easter is coming, the bunnies are all over the back yard and I just happened to have Pipin.
I pulled a previously made gel press circle background from the drawer and added Pipin. I borrowed another Lavinia stamp called Berry wreath from a friend. Then I searched my stash for a small leaf stamp to add to it. I then used a borrowed stencil to add the back leaves. the sentiment is from a Colorado Craft Company Anita Jeram stamp set.
I found this to be a fairly quick satisfying make. The trick is to have your stamps pulled and handy ahead of time. Otherwise, searching for stamps to use could be a time pit 😐. Ask me how I know!
Inks: Distress inks and Oxides; Versa fine, black; Gina K greens.
