I know I blamed my delay in posting on being busy with quilts and such, but these little babies really took over! Tim Holtz and Sizzix should really put a warning on these little house and Village Collection dies!
They are like eating chips! You can't make just one.... or one dozen....
These are the little house dies, set 1 and 2.
The buildings below were made using the Village Collection set. I also used the cobblestone embossing folders, both regular and mini.
Each is made for a family member and the details are specific to them....like the beach house for my youngest sister who would live at the beach if she could.
Tree Farm for the daughter in law that loves decorating and the farmhouse style. I used Distress woodgrain paper for this barn and Distress Inks.
The siding for the beach house was made from card stock that I ran through the Lumber Embossing folder.
The boys were made from the waste in cutting tower windows.
I had a collection of shells, sea glass shards and stones from a trip to the beach. There was about a teaspoon of beach sand in the jar, too. Just enough to add to the base.
Below is the Loon cottage with canoe for the Maine vacationer.
Both cottage's siding was made by running light paper through a striped embossing folder and then lightly blended with Distress ink in darker colors.
For the only brother who loves to hunt with his friend at Moose Head Lake.
Fair warning... if you start these they will take over your creative time. The sky is the limit and they are so much fun to personalize.
