The Reading Gnome revisits

I do love this Reading Gnome. I've always been a bit of a book worm, even working in the local and college libraries when a student. KLM Digital Design has a few variations of this image. There is even a pre-colored image if you don't have the time to color one yourself.

In this version I used some of the many backgrounds I have made. You know what Tim Holtz says about just making tons of backgrounds? Well I took that to heart!
I believe this background was one I made with Color Burst Pigments. I cut the panel with Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-namics from MFT. I then ran the panel through the Big Shot with the Memory Box cover die Pinpoint Leaf. I used the Stitched Circles - Large Dies from Sunny Studios Stamps to do a partial cutting around the image. The image and the background were layered onto Basic Black card stock from Stampin'UP.
The image was colored using Copic markers.
