For this card I die cut a tag card stock panel with a Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and then used Distress Matte Texture Paste through the Brick stencil from Stampers Anonymous. This panel dried overnight while I prepared the rest of the pieces. The next step also required dry time. I cut a vase from plain white card stock with Altenew Versatile Vases 2 dies. I brushed on Distress Collage Medium and allowed to dry a few minutes. I then applied a very thin coat of Ranger Crackle Texture Paste. This also dried overnight.
The daisy was cut from multimedia paper using Sizzix Thinlits, Tim Holtz Wildflower 1 dies. I used Tombow markers to color the flower. In hind sight, I much prefer using watercolor paper for the flowers.
Once the brick panel was dry I used Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Forest Moss Distress Spray stain and Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide spray and water to color the panel. After this was dry I covered the panel with Collage Medium, allowed it to dry again then rubbed on a bit of Distress crayon in Picket Fence and Pumice Stone.
I used Collage medium on the vase also and once dry rubbed Iced Spruce Distress Crayon into the cracks. I popped the vase up with a bit of foam tape an placed it over the daisy.
The greeting is from a Spellbinder die set. The card front was placed onto a card made with Stampin'UP Night of Navy card stock. A little raffia knot finished it off.
