The background paper is one made using a iron off emboss resist method. (Jennifer McGuire has several videos using this method.) I chose SU Night of Navy cardstock and clear embossed snowflakes on it. Then I used a selection of Distress Inks and Oxides to blend over areas of the paper and embossed areas. Next step is to place embossed sheet between copy paper pages and iron them until the shine from the embossing is gone, revealing the dark areas, here.
I then spritzed it with a little water.
The sentiment was printed on SU Shimmery White paper and cut with MFT Stitched Square STAX.
The Christmas Light Snowman image was printed on Copic friendly paper and colored with Copic markers and a light brush of Wink of Stella. A few confetti snowflakes finished it off.
