Summer is Here and so is a New Release

Hello and welcome to my blog. I've been absent lately while trying to get some much needed landscaping finished while the weather cooperated. There are many plans for work on the house this summer. I hope I can get at least part of what I want done.

The heat the last few days really knocked me off my feet! We don't get 90 degree days in May in Vermont very often! The good part was that all I could do was color the images I needed to prep for the KLM Digital Design June release.

During the heat wave all I could think of was walking on the beach. Well . . .  that won't happen this summer, so the next best thing is to color a gnome at the beach.

The image and sentiment are in the June release at KLM Digital Design. I printed the image and sentiment on Georgia Pacific 110lb. card stock. It is colored with Copic markers. The clouds were made using MFT cloud stencil and the panel cut with a stitched rectangle Die-namics die from there as well. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the clouds and just a little Tea Dye Distress ink for the sand. There is a touch of Signo White Gel pen on the waves as well as a tiny bit of clear glitter gel pen. A multiliner black pen, size .01, is used to texturize the beard.

I hope you enjoy this card and the weather. Today it is 25 degrees cooler than Thursday. I'm going to LOVE it.
