Here in Vermont we have had a couple of cloudy, really windy days. The wind is always an issue with Molly, my Golden girl. She is so afraid! We have to wrap her in her thunder shirt and give her calming treats to lessen her anxiety.
But, even with all that, if the wind blows hard, you can find her under foot or in my lap.
Today was a lap kind of day!
Despite having a 55 lb. fur baby in my lap, I did manage to get my design team work done.
Talking about wind brings me to this card I made using the new KLM Digital Design Sail boat image. My dad wasn't much for sailing but he did love the water, having grown up on the Great Sagandaga Lake in the Adirondacks.
I colored the image using Copic markers. Water is such a challenge! I guess I'll just keep working at it.
All of the paper was from my stash of scraps. The base card was from a Craft Smart paper pad from Michael's. ( Not my favorite as it is very slick and has a white core.)
If I had to guess I'd say the dark layer is Pacific Point from SU. The stitched dies are from My Favorite Things Stamps.
And yes, the card holder is an antique flower frog. I always get asked!
Enjoy your day. If you live near the ocean I'm jealous...enjoy every second of it for me.
Susan
