Love-ly tree

Welcome to my little blog. I hope you like what you see and visit again.

Today's card is from the May release at KLM Digital Design. This simple little tree could be used in so many different applications. It would be great for Father's Day, however, I am missing a dear friend, so I think this sentiment fits our situation just fine.

I printed the tree and sentiment on a "new to me" paper using the png file. I have been unable to get my favorite Georgia Pacific paper around here for some time. I tried out this Hammermill card stock to see how it takes Copic.

It prints beautifully; it takes ink stamped on beautifully.
I'm not crazy about using it with the Copics. I've been spoiled.

I colored the tree with Copic markers and cut the panel with MFT Stitched Rectangles. Layered it with  SU black and Kraft paper.

This paper is really nice for some applications. It will have a home in my paper collection. But, alas, the search will go on to find the paper that will check all my boxes.
Enjoy your creative time,
Susan
