Northern Lights Pastel version

This was a first attempt using the Ken Oliver Color Burst product. It has a learning curve, I will admit . I recommend watching several of the videos out there before even investing in them. I still need to play more. I'm a bit of a control freak, yet I love the freedom of watercolor. This.... let's just say there is NOOOOO control, except in the amount you use if you're careful. Be very careful.

The tiniest bit goes a LONG way. And the colors???This card I only used the Blueberry. But, there must have been a speck of Grape Jelly that produced that pink. The stuff morfs as one adds water and let it go. What you see when it's wet is not what you get when it dries. In addition, never ignore the back of the paper. Sometimes the back is better than the front! It reacts differently on different brands of watercolor paper. It truly is a great "play day" product. I can't wait to do more. But I have to use up what I made initially. I'm overrun with paper right now. Maybe after the holidays. Fun to play with though. I think I'll expand my color selection after Christmas.

Paper: SU Whisper White; Georgia Pacific 110lb. white card stock; Watercolor paper (I preferred the reaction on a heavier weight paper, but give it a try on different brands.) ;Glitter Ink Jet Cardstock (Walmart)

Ink/Markers; Copic Markers, Ken Oliver Color Burst Trio Night Sky; Extreme black

Other: Cable Embossing folder; MFT Stitched Dienamics
