Winter house Dies

Winter house dies are all over the place. I LOVE them. They don't have to be winter of course. I'm just in that frame of mind right now. Sorry for the crummy photo. Night time is NOT the time to take photos without a light box.

This is pretty straight forward. The house die is from CottageCutz and the stars are Sizzix Tim Holtz.

The dark paper is SU Basic Black and the White is Georgia Pacific 110lb. white card stock. The stars are backed by the Glitter InkJet card stock I found at Walmart. The Gold windows in the church are Recollections shiny gold paper.
I die cut a white frame with MFT Stitched Stacks Dienamics. I used a Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Glitter pen on the highlight areas. It didn't give me the exact effect I was looking for. I did another die cut with Wink of Stella and it was exactly what I wanted.

These dies are really pretty, however, you will get best cutting results if you use a precision base plate for detailed dies. I have one for my Big Shot and it works great on highly detailed cuts. Worth the investment.

Now, I wonder what else I can do with some of these houses I have acquired. 😏

Any recommendations ?

Susan
