Double challenge

I love days off from school! I decided that I was going to take a couple of days of this time off to just play. I went looking for some challenges that piqued my creative muse and chose Color Inspiration #27 at kwerner design.

I really love any shade of red. You should see my wardrobe! Do you think it has anything to do with being in education??? Red apples . . . red ink!!!

Anyway, I skipped on over to Beate's Weekend Challenge   (WSC#63) for an inspired layout and came up with this little guy.

The image and sentiment is from Inkadinkado, Dogs.
The background is SU's retired background, Print Pattern.
Papers and ink are all SU, Real red, Basic black and whisper white. Accents are black ribbon and a tiny crystal in his eye for a little sparkle.

This is another on the red theme. I will be sending this in for the Cards for a Cause on Splitcoast. The mums are so beautiful this year. I took pictures of them all and want to make gift sets of cards. These are so fast to make!

Stamps: Stampin'UP!, With Gratitude
Ink: Versa Mark
Paper: SU, Rose Red, Black

Off to play a little more before it's time to do the bedtime routine with my granddaughter.

Isn't the little dog cute, the plaid background works really well with him, love the cut flower image too - well done
