Tuesday Trigger

Good Morning,

Isn't this pretty. Makes me want to call my best friend and have her come over for coffee (or tea).

This is the TUESDAY TRIGGER over at Moxie Fab World. If you need a little kick of inspiration this is definately the place to visit.

I love the colors and the entire feel of this. I wanted to keep as much of the color and idea the same in my card. I've also been having a ball making all kinds of paper flowers. This gives me an excuse to make some more. I'm avoiding the weeds in the 5 gardens I have in my yard. Overwhelmed with the weeding chore, I can make paper flowers and throw away the "weeds". ;)

I had this paper from Scrapdashery in my stash. When I saw the background in the trigger it immediately came to mind. All other materials are from Papertrey Ink. Enchanted Evening was a perfect grounding mat. The image and sentiment are from Tea for Two, stamped in Hawaiian Shores and Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko). The roses are made from Sweet Blush and Hibiscus Burst. The pearls were colored with Copics to pull in the delicious butterscotch color of the teacup. Border punch is
Fiskars.

Hope you like!

Moxie Fab Stamping Olympics

Recognize this fella? The first time I saw this stamp I had to have it. You see, my alter ego is Mrs. Claus! I took one look at this image and saw my DH. The Stamping Olympics gave me the opportunity to use it again. I love to make my own background papers with stamping and sponging so I took full advantage.
Kraft is stamped with various snowflakes from SU sets, in PTI Fresh Snow and Brilliance Platinum. The green stock was stamped with the pine bough from SU Pines. I sponged some Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy to give it a little texture and glisten.
I touched the eye
highlight and the
snowflakes with
a gel glitter pen.
His eyes actually twinkle, like the real
thing.

There is one more post. Stay tuned!
