This next card was a SCS challenge SC182. I
really like this size and this challenge is great for using scraps. I have so many I don't ever think I will find the bottom. We spent one whole afternoon sponging inks that match, and chalk inks all over the strips. This gives the strips of paper a custom dye look. Then we stamped over the top of the sponging in white or in a monochromatic color scheme. Any stamp will work. I used so many different ones I lost track!

Stamp: Stampendous, Scenic Lavender
PTI, Mixed Messages
Paper: SU mustard, artichoke, black, vanilla
Ink: Same as papers
Accessories: Water color crayons, black brads, dimensionals.
This last card today uses many of the strips I made. It really is like what we used to do when quilting with strips.
I found making the strips very relaxing. Now I need to use them all up! New challenge for the next week or two before school preparation begins in earnest. I will try to use as many of the treated scraps as possible. Kate even listed a challenge on Splitcoast.

Nice cards! I tried to get some of that creative genius to rub off by osmosis or humidity, but I don't think it worked! Beautiful cards as usual!
