Wishing for Sun

I’m watching a robin on the bush outside my window, a sure sign of spring, right? The last 3 days have been very chilly and, for the most part, raining or so windy it’s just raw. Now that it is time to return to school it is supposed to be nicer. Go figure.   I spent the early part of vacation cleaning the gardens getting ready for mulching. The back yard disaster has been started but weather stopped that. I always begin with a huge list and never get through half. I find I do that on the weekends, too. Maybe that is why I feel like I never accomplish enough. I put too much on the list. Lesson learned. . . maybe. Next week I’ll make a shorter list.flower pot (425x640)Disappointed smile

But not a shorter flower. I love the Flower Fusion sets from PTI. They are fun to mix and match. And for $5 you can’t go wrong! I started out to make a simple card. Yea,RIGHT! It was simple, but I used a ton of stuff!

Paper: Kraft, Whisper White, Stampers Select White

Ink: Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise,Terra Cotta, Dk. Chocolate, Ripe Avocado, Chamomile

Stamps Flower Fusion 1 (flower), Floral Frenzy ( flower ctr.), Flower Garden (leaves), Green Thumb (pot, stem), Polka Dot Basics, Blooming Button Bits (sentiment)

Dies: Flower Fusion 1, Nestabilities long rectangles

Accents: Summer Sunrise Ribbon, MS doily tags, small pearls (Michael’s)

Enjoy your Monday. I hope you have sunshineHot smile.

If you can't do the flowers outside, do one inside! Warmer days are coming.
