Stamp It Techniques

Are you looking for something new to try? Or have you forgotten about that technique you loved but haven’t  used in a while? Well, pick up Paper Crafts latest special issue, Stamp It Techniques. If you are not able to find it in your area, you can get it HERE.

This is loaded with inspiration. New technique trends and some that have been around a while. On that note  here is my entry for the “Queen of Trend’s” blog, Maxie Fab World.

The featured technique HERE is coloring. I have used several techniques to apply color throughout this blog but one of my favorites is using Copic markers.

This card is relatively simple. It uses mostly Papertrey Ink products. The stamp is Delightful Dahlia. The small dahlia is colored and popped up on the sentiment frame. I love the intensity of color that is achievable with these markers. Shading takes a little practice and a few markers in the same color range but the results are worth both.

If you want more information about Copics, check out THIS blog. Marianne Walker is an authority on Copics. Her blog is rich with information and instructions on how to use them. She has also recently had a book published on shading. That will soon be on my list to get!

I hope you visit Moxie Fab and check out all the great blogs, and don’t forget the magazine!
