Here is a little card I played with just before we went on vacation to the Saint Lawrence Seaway. It is our favorite place to camp even though it is a LONG drive. No good way to get there from here, kind of thing. The most fun on this was making the life preserver. I masked the clouds and hearts then sponged the sky; free hand cut the top and the layer beneath. The waves are the left over from a scallop I cut a while ago. Add a little sponging to the edge and, voila!
The preserver is simply circles punched with red paper strips which wrap around the twine and holds it in place.
Shots of the real thing later . . .
