PTI inspiration Blog Hop

bloghoplogo           Hello Everyone. It is wonderful to be back after and extended absence. What better way to return than with the PTI Blog hop.

Here is PTI’s Challenge for this month!

One of the most fun things about this hobby is the people you meet, whether in

person or online, and the things you learn from them.  Now is your chance to show

off any skills you might have learned from a fellow stamper, and perhaps even give them

a little shout out to thank them for the inspiration they have provided.  Create a project

using one of your favorite learned skills and perhaps after a little blog hopping, we will ALL

learn some new tips and tricks and continue to pass on the love of this hobby!

There are so many fine artists in this craft  it is difficult to single out any one person. But when I really search my soul the person who inspires me daily is my daughter. She is an amazingly talented individual. She can just see what needs to go together and creates beautiful works of art. I have learned from her that less is more, and to think outside of the box more.

PICT0054Here is the card I made with her in mind using the PTI Vintage Picnic, Terra Cotta, Black, and ivory papers and PTI buttons. The Kraft stock was embossed with the wood grain embossing plate. Hope you enjoy. For more inspiration check out Kate’s blog.

Ahhh! It is so sweet that each of you draw inspiration from each other! How special of a bond that is! Your card is great and you did a wonderful job with your coloring!

What a sweet card! Love the texture you incorporated - and the little twine/button bug - totally cute!

What a pretty little composition and how sweet to credit your daughter as your inspiration. I like what you did with the twine and the buttons and the sketch you followed.

Lovely card. I have this stamp set and have not used it yet. You have inspired me to go pull it out and stamp.

We'd love to have you enter some of your inspired projects in our challenges there. We're also having a DT call soon and want to tell papercrafters like you about the call! There is still time to enter our PTI gift certificate drawing too! http://papercraftstar.blogspot.com/2010/09/another-gift-certificate-give-away-at.html
