Lovely Tree

This is an old card that was in my folder hiding. It was very easy to make. The hardest part  was getting the scrap measurements equal. The image was colored with markers.  You could get the same effect using a multi-colored DSC_0102 pad. I wanted certain colors and the trunk to be brown  all the way through. The base card is Kraft paper and the strips match the ink colors: rust, mustard, olive and chocolate chip. I punched 1/16" holes at each "seam " and tied it with a bit of hemp twine.

The stamped image is from Lovely as a Tree, one of my most favorites.

All materials are Stampin'UP!          Markers: Olive, garden green, rust, mustard, chocolate chip.

This is beautiful! Love the warm, fall feeling to it.
