Fall inspiration

I just got this cute set in the mail and had to try it out. This entire card took about 20 minutes, start to finish. All products are SU. My daughter did the challenge for 2Sketches4U blog . I haven't done any in so long, I decided to do it, too. Sorry the photo is a bit "blah". I was rapidly losing the light!

Stamp: Happy Blessings

Paper: Saffron texture, Artichoke DS, Pumpkin, Whisper White

Accessories: artichoke ribbon, blender pen, markers, Sponge.

How is this for inspiration! The colors this year are certainly impressive. The "leaf peepers" that come this weekend will not be disappointed. Even on cloudy days, the colors are stunning, the best we have had in several years. My opinion!

I decided to do a series of fall cards. I love this season and the SU leaf set With Gratitude.

I used this set and markers to get the            multicolored leaf. Then I cut the image into 

pieces. The green has been stamped with a the same leaf , but in a gold metallic ink. There wasn't enough light to pick up the sheen.

I reassembled the leaf image with a few slices of the green. The ruby red base was sponged with ruby to give the card more depth.
