Little tricks!

This is still a current set, thank goodness. I love Baroque Motifs. This is another fun fast technique. Faux tearing is a good way to add interest without a lot of layers. Tear a piece of thin paper to get the desired torn look you want. I use regular copy paper scrap for this. Lay the paper over the card base color. I use the same color ink as the paper to get a nice subtle change. Begin to sponge on the color making sure to sponge from the copy paper toward the cardstock. Once you achieve the depth of color and the effect you want over stamp this area with the scroll stamp. For this card I used amethyst, black and white. The center of the medallion had a touch of Dazzling Diamonds. Gotta have a little sparkle!
